Welcome

What to expect when you visit:

We use the Complete Artscroll siddur and the traditional Ashkenazi order for the Shacharit morning prayer service. The service is led in English, with Hebrew highlights. During part of the service, we read the traditional weekly Torah portion and either discuss it together or listen to a short teaching from First Fruits of Zion’s Torah Club.

Men take the opportunity to use a tallit , if available, to keep the commandment of wearing tzitzit on the corner of the garment. Many women choose to prepare for prayer by donning a head-covering. We dress casually, with modesty and respect for the King of the Universe. Isaiah 58:13-14

After the morning service we enjoy a simple Oneg consisting of Biblically-kosher finger foods (breads, cheeses, dried fruits, crackers, nuts, chips, vegetable sticks, cookies, etc.) which participants bring to share in fellowship.
